Our Story

TechVantage was founded in 2018 by a team of experienced system administrators and IT educators who recognized a significant gap in the Philippine IT education landscape. While traditional academic institutions offered computer science degrees, they often lacked the practical, hands-on training needed for specialized IT roles.

Our founders—Marcelo Ibanez, Cristina Reyes, and Dr. Datu Pangilinan—started with a single course in network administration taught in a small facility in Makati. Their approach focused on intensive hands-on training with real-world infrastructure, creating simulated environments that closely matched what students would encounter in their professional careers.

The response was overwhelmingly positive. As more graduates secured positions and advanced in their careers, word spread throughout the industry. By 2021, TechVantage had expanded to three locations across the Philippines and grown its course offerings to cover the full spectrum of system administration skills needed in today's IT landscape.
